Workshop: Drupal Theming Made Easy

About this Course
Learn how to:
- Build a Drupal theme from scratch.
- Choose the best starter theme for your projects so that you never have to build a Drupal theme from scratch.
- Divide (Photoshop) design files into the separate tpl.php files that make up a Drupal theme.
- Find and install awesome helper modules to make fancy rotating banners and drop down menus.
This course is for folks who know how to make a Drupal Web site but are tired of their sites always looking like crap.
Class format
This class will be taught online as a half day (three hour) "Webinar." Participants will also get access to a private online support forum where they will be able to ask questions for an additional two weeks after the Webinar. Login information is sent the week before class starts. Registrants are given immediate access to their own copy of the very popular ebook Theming Drupal: A first timer's guide. Class size is limited. You will get individualized feedback when you ask questions.

About the Instructor
Emma Jane Hogbin has been teaching internet technologies since 2002 and building Web sites for over fourteen years. She is a highly sought-after speaker and trainer whose presentations have taken her to France, Belgium, Hungary, Canada, New Zealand, England and the United States. She has presented at three DrupalCon conferences and numerous other DrupalCamps in North America, Europe and New Zealand.
She is currently guest lecturing in Trends in Web Development at Humber College. Her first book, Front End Drupal: Designing, Theming, Scripting is recognized in the industry as the most important book for Drupal designers and was a top-1000 best seller on Amazon.com. Her second book, Drupal: A User's Guide should hit shelves by the end of this year.
