Permissions for Modules
By default many modules are disabled for anonymous use. If you want site visitors to be able to contact you via the contact form, or search your site, you will need to adjust the permissions for your modules.
Contact Module
- From the admin dashboard, navigate to People.
- Click on the tab labelled Permissions.
- Scroll to the module labelled Contact.
- Next to the permission Use the site-wide contact form enable the check boxes for Anonymous user and Authenticated user.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save permissions.
Search Module
- From the admin dashboard, navigate to People.
- Click on the tab labelled Permissions.
- Scroll to the module labelled Search.
- Next to the permission Use Search and Use Advanced Search enable the check boxes for Anonymous user and Authenticated user.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save permissions.
